Underwhelming at best. Guy has Darrin Horn written all over him. He’s 2 games under .500 in SoCon play in 5 years. Did win the conference and conference tournament this season. If not for a shot just inside half court to beat Furman, we’re probably not even talking to this guy.

McKie would’ve been bad too. But at least the guy went to SC. Paris at least has coaching experience…but we just hired another defensive minded basketball coach.

In no way did our program get better. The only good thing we can say at this point is at least we’re trying something different. Or the fact that we hired the first black coach in the program’s history. But no way we upgraded here. Maybe he can recruit…who knows?

I, like you will support the guy. But man, this just isn’t exciting at all.
