Sorry Alabama, but the Florida Gators aren’t done yet.

Wyatt Langford and company sent the Crimson Tide home with a loss, as the Gators were able to move on to a matchup with Texas A&M later Saturday afternoon after a 11-6 victory.

The aforementioned Langford showed why he’s been one of the top players in the country all season long, clobbering two home runs and driving home three runs. Now, he’ll be looking to put the Gators on his back again against the Aggies.

Moreover, pitcher Nick Ficarrotta was phenomenal out of the bullpen, as he shut the Crimson Tide down over 6.1 innings of relief.

On the other hand, Caden Rose had three hits for Alabama in their disappointing loss. However, the rest of the lineup couldn’t match his prowess, and the Crimson Tide weren’t able to keep up with the Gators offense.

After defeating Georgia and Arkansas, Alabama was bested by Texas A&M on Friday, and now Florida on Saturday. Instead of a rematch with the Aggies, their time in the 2022 SEC Tournament is done.

Nevertheless, it was an impressive run for the Crimson Tide, but only one team could move on between them and the Gators. On Saturday, Florida was simply the better squad.
