2025 NFL Draft: PFF shakes up latest mock with four first-round quarterbacks

The latest PFF 2025 NFL Draft, mock version of course, is here and there are some big names in the first round. How about four first-round quarterbacks?
There were some other surprises as well, as PFF shook some things up in the top 10. That’s due to a certain quarterback going in the top 10, perhaps a bit higher than expected.
Without further ado, let’s dive into PFF’s latest mock draft as we are less than two weeks away. We start at the top with no surprises.
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB – Miami
The Titans and Cam Ward seem destined to come together at this point. This PFF mock draft has the Miami QB taking over the Titans and becoming the new franchise icon.
He can sling it down the field, he’s mobile and he’s a winner. This is something Tennessee desperately needs going into 2025.
2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB – Colorado

No quarterback here for the Browns because they have Kenny Pickett! If they’re going to roll with the veteran and get a weapon, get him arguably the best one. Hunter is that guy for PFF.
He can be an elite receiver and an elite cornerback. But can he both? That’s pretty much the only question regarding Hunter going into his pro career.
3. New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado
Now here’s another quarterback in PFF’s mock draft! It seems like the Giants could very well go in this direction or go with someone like Abdul Carter, who doesn’t last long here.
Sanders is the most accurate quarterback of the bunch and the Giants bide their time, perhaps Prime Time comes to New York. No, not Deion. But the new version!
4. New England Patriots: Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State
With Hunter gone already and two quarterbacks selected, the Patriots can’t pass on Carter. PFF didn’t make the mistake in this mock by going offensive tackle.
Sure, the trenches are a need as well. But a person who is the next Micah Parsons, yeah, don’t miss out on picking the man who went to the same school wears the same number and could very well be just as good.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL – Michigan

Graham to the Jaguars, Jaguars select Graham. You’ve heard this story before haven’t you? PFF knows you pay attention to these mock drafts.
Graham is a disruptor of the run and can rush the passer, we know this. He’s an instant impact player and it’d be stunning if he doesn’t go in the top five at this point.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Jahdae Barron, CB – Texas
A lot of mock drafts have Ashton Jeanty going here, but PFF goes defense for Pete Carroll’s new team. Barron is an elite cover corner and this might be the highest he goes.

Carroll might take a veteran approach on offense but wants to sure up the defense long term. Barron is a great first step for the 2025 season.
7. New York Jets: Tyler Warren, TE – Penn State
The Jets got a quarterback and his name is Justin Fields. He needs protection, but an additional safety valve and weapon on offense would bode well.
PFF has the draft’s top tight end in Warren going here. He can line up virtually anywhere on offense and be productive. New York needs production, to say the least.
8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker, EDGE – Georgia

Walker is a dude, that’s a fact. He’s an instant starter for the Panthers and gives them a fearsome presence on the edge.
PFF wouldn’t have Walker lasting too much longer in this first round if he doesn’t go here. So, Carolina has to swoop in on the Georgia pass rusher.
9. New Orleans Saints: Jaxson Dart, QB – Ole Miss
We have our third quarterback of the mock draft! PFF does it in the top 10! Dart goes to the Saints who seem to be very QB hungry now with Derek Carr’s 2025 season up in the air.
Dart has a great case for QB3 in this class but it’s a matter of if he’ll go in the first round or early second round. It seems like one of the more prolific passers of the last couple of years is bound for the first round at this point.
10. Chicago Bears: Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State
This is a premium pick right here, but PFF has a case. The Bears already beefed up their offensive line, so there’s protection for Caleb Williams and running lanes for Jeanty.
Jeanty was the Heisman runner-up and had a historic season at Boise State. You might as well strike while the iron is hot as he could breakout as a rookie in Chicago.
