Connor Stalions wasn’t in Columbus for this season’s iteration of The Game, but he made sure to let the college football world know his feelings on Michigan’s huge win over Ohio State.

Check out his post on X below, where Stalions took a bit of a victory lap as the game went final. He made sure to shoutout Buckeyes coach Ryan Day, patronizing him while sharing a selfie with former Wolverines offensive lineman Trente Jones.

“Hi friends!” Stalions posted on X. “They said I wasn’t allowed in Columbus this year (disappointed-face emoji). Just checking in on my buddy Ryan. Everything good???”

We’re willing to bet Stalions might not actually share some concern for Day, that’s for sure. However, his future is murkier than ever following the Buckeyes’ second loss of the season, and their fourth-straight disappointment against Michigan. If you can’t beat “The Team Up North,” then you’re not going to be very popular in Columbus.

While The Game is one of college football’s premier rivalries, it turned ugly while Stalions and the rest of Ann Arbor jumped with joy. The Wolverines tried to plant their maize and blue flag at midfield in Ohio Stadium, and a gigantic altercation broke out, which had to be broken up by law enforcement officials.

Regardless of the result, Ohio State is expected to be selected for the College Football Playoff, but a loss to Michigan as three-touchdown favorites might have thrown a wrench into those plans. Time will tell, but The Game certainly delivered in 2024, and Connor Stalions is happy as ever.
