Austin Novosad burst on the scene as a sophomore football player at Dripping Springs (Texas) High, where he was named Newcomer of the Year for his district. Novosad was the 2021 Texas District 12-5A-I Overall MVP after throwing for 3,399 yards and 40 touchdowns. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, water sports, skiing and golf. Novosad is the son of Trey and Nicki Novosad. He has one sibling, Addison.

Austin Novosad's throwing motion, build and playing style as a pure, in structure pocket passer remind us of Jared Goff. Both Novosad and Goff were productive passers at the high school level.
