Personal Life
Bernhard Raimann never saw a football game until he was 14 years old. He was born in Vienna, Austria, and started playing football for the Vienna Vikings youth team when he was 14. He always wanted to do a high school year abroad, and his passion for football led him to spend his junior year at Delton (Mich.) Delton-Kellogg. He earned a scholarship from Central Michigan before he returned to Austria, where he graduated high school and served a mandatory military service. He enrolled at Central Michigan in January 2018 and started four games as a tight end in his freshman season. He started seven more games as a sophomore before moving from tight end to left tackle in the 2020 offseason. He has been a revelation at the position and has been rising up draft boards over the past year.
