Personal Life
Brock Bowers was an All-American during his three-year career at Georgia, and he helped redefine how tight ends are used in today's modern football. Bowers said he likes to think of himself as a mix of a true tight end, along with the game-breaking catching ability of Travis Kelce. "Tight end is a prime position to be in right now," he said. "I feel like I'm yards after the catch and just being able to make people miss type of player. Just turn good plays into great plays. I like catching the ball in the flat and making things happen, That's fun to me." Bowers, a former On3 Consensus four-star recruit coming out of Napa (Calif.) High School, finished his UGA career with 175 catches for 2,538 yards. “Right away you can tell he only knew one speed,” Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken said before the 2021 College Football Playoffs. “He’d be 10 yards in front of every other guy. He was working at his own speed to be the best he could be, and that is a rare quality to put yourself out there like he did. So right away you could see this guy is different.”
