Chris Henry Jr. is part of one of the most athletic families in America. Henry is the son of the late former NFL wide receiver Chris Henry of the Cincinnati Bengals. Henry's family also includes Seini Hicks, one of the top girl's basketball players in the Class of 2024. Younger brother DeMarcus Henry is considered one of the top basketball recruits in the Class of 2027. Henry transferred to Santa Ana (California) Mater Dei in February 2024. During the 2023 football season at Cincinnati Withrow, he was an all-state selection after racking up 1,127 yards and 10 touchdowns on 71 receptions in 14 games. Henry has developed a close friendship with NFL star receiver Tee Higgins, and he credits his tutelage as part of his development. “Not a lot of kids would be able to have these types of resources,” Henry said. “It is really good, it keeps me ahead of the game and to learn more from them because they have already been through the type of situations, and they succeeded there. It just helps me a lot.”

Chris Henry Jr.'s combination of stature, length, athleticism, and ball skills reminds us of Nico Collins.

D-III / Dev

Scholarship-caliber traits for Division II and NAIA programs, with room to climb through continued development.

D-II / NAIA

Starter-caliber traits for a Power 4 program (SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC). Squarely on major-conference radars.

Power 4

Blue-chip traits — a high-priority Power 4 target with the tools to contribute early at the highest level.

Blue Chip

The top of the scale — national-caliber talent that every major program pursues, with a clear NFL trajectory.

Elite / Top 100

Jumbo receiver with a rare combination of size, athleticism, and coordination as a young prospect. Continued growing and adding size throughout his high school career, checking in at around 6-foot-5 and over 200 pounds going into his senior season. Has good length, with arms around 34 inches. Tests as a strong athlete with good speed at his size in the combine setting. Flashes functional movement skills at his size, showing the ability to sink his hips and change direction with ease. Touts good ball skills and catch radius. Tracks the ball over his shoulder and can win in jump ball situations. Sustained a season-ending knee injury as a junior, missing most of the year. Heading into his senior season, his production is below average for a top wide receiver prospect. Has a strong pedigree as the son of the late NFL wide receiver Chris Henry. Will need to capitalize on more extensive reps and continue developing, but has a very high physical upside.
