As a Recruit
Personal Life
Christopher Vizzina didn’t play quarterback until his eighth-grade season after an injury forced him into action as the leader of the junior-varsity squad. “We did a little junior high spring training, we saw him throw and said, ‘That guy's got a natural throwing motion, throws a pretty ball, he needs to be our quarterback of the future,’” Briarwood Christian coach Matthew Forester said. “He worked freshman year all summer. And that was the first summer he'd ever trained just to be a quarterback.” Vizzina got another break in his freshman season when another injury allowed him to take over as the starter, and now he’s developed into one of the country’s top quarterback prospects. When he’s not on the field, Vizzina likes to fish, play basketball and hang with his friends. His parents are Carolyn and Chris Vizzina.
