Shows very good long speed in track and field, steadily improving his times culminating in several sub 11.0 second 100-meter marks as a junior. Plays for national powerhouse Mater Dei High School. Lined up on the outside and in the nickel for his high school team. Strong technique and clean footwork. Comfortable playing off and press coverage. Plays with good awareness. Willing tackler and comes downhill with vigor. Was a standout in 1-on-1’s at the Navy All-American Bowl after his senior season, faring well against top wide receivers. Logged 1 interception and 7 pass breakups in his senior season. Not a ton of ball production in his high school career, with 1 total interception. Older for the cycle, turning 19 years old in the first semester of his senior year of high school.
