Personal Life
Even as one of the best offensive linemen in the country, Devin Harper considers himself still a work in progress. "I feel like I've made a lot of improvement since my freshman season, but I still have a lot of work to do," he said. "I focused mainly on my technique early on in my sophomore year because I was still raw. But now I'm getting more into technique and refining my game. Footwork is something I pride myself on. The moment your feet stop, you're beat. Now that I've built that foundation, I'm able to dominate. I've always had that dog in me, but now that I have the technique, my game is that much better." Harper started his career at Captain Shreve High School but transferred ahead of his senior season to Calvary Baptist Academy. “The adjustment went as smooth as possible. They took me in as family immediately,” Harper said. “And it’s group full of hard workers and good people. I couldn't have asked for a better group of guys to go to war with.”
