Buford (Georgia) High School coach Bryant Appling isn’t afraid to heap praise on Eddrick Houston, a two-way star at defensive line and tight end. “Do you know that saying where hard work beats talent when the talent doesn’t work hard?” Appling said. “I’ve got a different one with Eddrick. Eddrick is also a great tight end that can open up holes for our running game as well as be a threat in the passing game.” Houston is a three-sport star at Buford. Along with a state title in wrestling under his belt, he also throws and anchors the 4x400 for the Buford track team. “He works his behind off every day in that weight room,” teammate Justice Haynes said. “On the field.
