Personal Life
While some cornerbacks like to talk smack and make it about themselves, Jabbar Muhammad prefers to take a more low-key approach “I mean there's nothing wrong with trash talking,” Muhammad said. “I just respect the game. I’m more of a humble guy, I just know how hard it is to play (defensive back). I feel like if I go out there and talk trash and you know, (catch) a bomb for 60 yards next play it doesn’t look too good.” Entering the 2024 season, Muhammad hasn't had to worry too much about giving up big plays. Before he transferred to Oregon, Muhammad was a key reason Washington made it all the way to the national championship game in 2023. He started every game in the 2023 season and racked up 46 tackles, three interceptions, five tackles for a loss and two sacks. "He plays with so much confidence," Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. "He flies around out there and just makes plays."
