Jacoby Mathews is a two-sport star at Ponchatoula High School. Not only does Mathews excel in football, he is also one of the school’s top basketball players. During his sophomore season, he averaged 12.5 points a game, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Mathews played both ways throughout his high school football career, even playing quarterback and receiver.
