Jesse Harrold

There was a time when LaJesse Harrold thought he was going to be a basketball star. There was also a point where he saw his future as a long-jumper or even a high-jumper. However, in the end Harold trained his focus on football. "I think I just have more upside and ability to dominate the game in football," said Harold, who was a regional qualifier in the high jump as a junior at Robinson High School. "There's something about football I just love. To go out there and take over a game – it feels great. There's no feeling like it." On the football field Harold excelled during the 2023 season, where he posted 42 tackles (18.5 for a loss). Harrold also tallied 8.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble in just nine games per MaxPreps. As a junior, he led Robinson to its first district title since 2012.
