Personal Life
Jordan Travis started his college career at Louisville in 2018, after he was named 2017 FHSAA 3-A Player of the Year and Palm Beach Player of the Year at The Benjamin School. He transferred to Florida State for the 2019 season, where he appeared in the final four games for the Seminoles. During the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Travis emerged as a star for the Noles. That season he broke FSU’s single-season record for quarterback rushing yards, passing previous mark set by Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward in 1992. He also ranked second in ACC and eighth nationally with an average of 14.67 yards per completion. He continued success in 2021 and 2022 for FSU – where he was Pro Football Focus' highest-graded FBS quarterback and highest-graded offensive player in the ACC. In 2022, he became the fourth FSU player with at least 3,000 total yards and 30 total touchdowns, joining Heisman Trophy winners Ward, Chris Weinke and Jameis Winston. His brother, Devon Travis, played baseball at FSU from 2010-12 and played four seasons in MLB with the Toronto Blue Jays.
