Kany Tchanda

As a College Recruit

Kany Tchanda has a long and lanky frame that is very projectable. A college weight program should instantly pack on muscle to the 6-foot-10 power forward. A native of the Congo, Tchanda has been in the United States for right around a year. The first thing you see with him is how well he runs; long strides and is very fast as he transitions ends. He has a smooth catch and shoot three-point shot that he takes with confidence. Tchanda missed a good chunk of the summer with back issues, but he is getting back to 100 percent to start the season. Still under the radar, look for college coaches to really pique their interest. The game can be a little fast for him, but that should change with reps. He is a good athlete and has natural timing with skills.
