Personal Life
In his first two seasons at Benedictine Military School, an all-boys Catholic military school in Savannah, Georgia, Luke Kromenhoek never started at quarterback and mostly played wide receiver, safety and special teams. Yet, he was still impressive enough in a camp setting that he received his first Division I offer – from Florida State – in June 2021. Those that believed in Kromenhoek were rewarded. He developed in 2022 into one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects after throwing for 2,576 yards and 24 touchdowns while completing 65% of his passes. “His arm talent is as good as I've ever seen,” Benedictine coach Danny Britt told the Tallahassee Democrat. “He can throw the ball so easily. And at 50, 60 yards, so easily. He can release it at multiple angles and can release it very quickly. Then you mix in the size, the physical ability. He can move, he can throw on the move and then can really run well. So, all of that combined, and then you add the mental toughness, he's a special talent.”

Reminds Us Of
Luke Kromenhoek's size, movement skills and ability to drive the football with velocity reminds us of Ryan Tannehill. Both played other positions throughout their careers and showed translatable upside for the position. Kromenhoek's playing style resembles Tannehill's at the same stage, as well.
