Personal Life
Messiah Bright returned to TCU for her super-senior season as one of the most decorated soccer players in the country. Along with her success in college, Bright was called up to the U.S. Women’s National Team U23 squad in 2022. In 2021, Bright was a United Soccer Coaches first-team All-American, a member of Top Drawer Soccer’s Best XI, the Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player and a first-team all-league pick. Bright set school single-season records in goals scored (17), a mark that was tied for fourth nationally, and points (40), a total that was tied for fifth nationally, in 2021. As a junior, she was an All-Big 12 first-team pick after ranking third on the team with nine points. Bright was also a first-team All-Big 12 pick in 2019 with 30 points and 12 goals. As a freshman in 2018, he was one of five Horned Frog players to play in and start all 21 games. Bright played club soccer for the prestigious Solar Soccer Club. Her parents are Kimberly and Damion Bright. She has executed a number of NIL deals, including with TCU-focused collective Think NIL.
