Personal Life
Michael Trigg was a two-way star coming out of high school, where he played at Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day and Seffner (Fla.) Christian Academy. On the football field, he played quarterback, tight end and defensive end at the varsity level. On the basketball court, he averaged over 20 points per game as a sophomore and junior. He committed to USC to play both football and basketball. As a freshman, Trigg played in only six games for USC’s football team before injuring his ankle. Trigg transferred with fellow Jaxson Dart from USC to Ole Miss, where they decided to move in together. He is the son of Tywanca and Michael Trigg. His dad founded the Tampa restaurant Konan's BBQ. Trigg is majoring in multidisciplinary studies.
