As a Recruit
Personal Life
Quincy Porter first emerged on the national recruiting radar as a freshman at high school football powerhouse program Bergen Catholic in New Jersey. Even though he had a lot of early success, Porter credits coach Vito Campanile and the entire Bergen Catholic coaching staff with helping him get to where he is now. "They helped me a lot," said Porter, who was named the MaxPreps New Jersey High School Player of the Year in 2023. "I probably wouldn’t be in the spot I am now without the coaches. They kept me focused on working hard, even with some success. I didn't really think much about if I got this or I got that. I just kept working because no matter what, as long as I keep working, I'd see results.” As a junior in high school, Porter tallied 48 receptions for 1,066 yards (22.2 yards per catch) and 16 touchdowns. In a 24-14 win over Delbarton (Morristown) in the 2023 state championship game, he grabbed seven passes for 97 yards.

Reminds Us Of

Quincy Porter's frame, movement patterns and massive catch radius remind us of Drake London at the same stage. London was a bit heavier as a junior and was also a prolific basketball player, while Porter has shown more speed on the track.
