Personal Life
Riley Moss grew up going to Iowa football games and dreaming of playing for the Hawkeyes. But it wasn’t until his senior football season at Ankeny (Iowa) Ankeny Centennial that Iowa started recruiting Moss, who was committed to North Dakota State. Moss made contributions immediately as a freshman, making five starts and playing in all 13 games. He was a reserve defensive back as a sophomore. During the 2020 COVID season, he started all eight games and was All-Big Ten honorable mention. He broke out as a star as a senior, winning Tatum-Woodson Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year, earning first-team All-Big Ten and being selected for some All-American honors. Moss is majoring in sports and recreation management. He is the son of Beth and Mark Moss. Mark Moss played football at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa.
