Sam Sledge is the first player in school history to be a four-year starter at Omaha Creighton Prep. He is the son of former Nebraska and All-Big Eight offensive lineman Bob Sledge. He began his high school career playing tight end but moved to the offensive line as a sophomore. He qualified for the state wrestling tournament both in 2021 and 2022.
