Samson Aletan was a key player in one of the biggest upsets in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The Dallas Lake Highlands High School native came up with two key blocks in the final seconds to seal Yale's 78-76 victory over fourth-seeded Auburn. “At that moment I knew that the main reason why they got me here is to shot block and rebound,” Aletan said. “Saw the guy grab the ball and try to immediately go up with it so I said I’m gonna just go for it, jumped up and got it.”
