Personal Life
Tavien St. Clair prides himself on being from Bellefontaine, Ohio. In fact, he's said using his platform as one of the top players in the Class of 2025 to bring attention to his hometown and open the doors for others. St. Clair is hardly known as a hotbed for college football talent, and he is the first major star to come from Bellefontaine in decades. “I’ve thought about this for a long time – since I was a little kid," St. Clair told the Dayton News. "And now that it’s happening, it’s cool because nobody has really done it from Bellefontaine. The last time we had somebody go to an FBS program was in like the 60s. The internet wasn’t really a thing, social media wasn’t really a thing, so it’s cool.” Even with all the attention as one of the top players in the country, St. Clair has remained grounded. “He’s the same young man today that he was three years ago walking in here ... His kindness, his humility,” Bellefontaine coach Jason Brown told Cleveland.com. “He is exactly the same kid – except now he can drive. And honestly, that’s what I’m most proud of.”

Reminds Us Of

Tavien St. Clair's physical traits and play style reminds us of Blaine Gabbert at the same stage. Gabbert was a bit bigger at the same stage. Both were big, athletic prospects who excelled in the camp setting. St. Clair was more productive while playing a lower level of competition in high school.
