Personal Life
TreVeyon Henderson accomplished a lot during his college career, but the thing he's most proud of is his ability to make people around him better. "That's God's plan with me," Henderson said ahead of the 2024 season. "I could have left, transferred, or gone to the NFL, but God just kept reminding me that I had something bigger to do here. He wanted me to help continue to change lives, not just players but coaches and staff. We're working so hard to become better men, and I'm proud that I've played a role in that." Ohio State coach Ryan Day agrees that Henderson – who entered 2024 with more than 2,700 rushing yards in his Buckeyes' career – has become a key leader. “I think TreVeyon's leadership so far this year as he's transitioned into his fourth year has been tremendous,” Day said. “The way that he's gone about his work, the way that he's holding guys accountable, he's got a different look in his eye, and I think that's important.” Coming out of high school, Henderson was the No. 1 running back in the 2021 recruiting class and an On3 Consensus five-star recruit.
