Personal Life
Vladislav Goldin, a native of Nalchick, Russia, was ranked as a four-star recruit coming out of Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut in the 2020 recruiting class. Goldin originally signed with Texas Tech and played in 10 games off the bench for the Red Raiders in the 2020-2021 season. Then as a second-year freshman, Goldin transferred to FAU, where he made an instant impact in Conference USA. Goldin led the team in blocks (39) and field goal percentage (55%) and was second in rebounding (4.9). During the 2022-2023 season, Goldin continued to emerge as one of the country’s top big men, earning third-team all-league honors. He averaged 10.3 points a game and 6.6 rebounds and was huge in the Elite Eight game against Kansas State with 14 points and a season-high 13 rebounds. Goldin has also played for the Russian U18 and U19 national teams.
