Personal Life
Zaquan Patterson is a Swiss Army Knife type of player for Miami Gardens (Florida) Chaminade-Madonna College Prep. Patterson has played all over the field, including making impact plays on special teams. As a sophomore, Patterson was a Sun Sentinel first-team all-county selection after finishing with 61 tackles, three sacks and an interception. He also blocked eight punts and field goals. Then in 2022, he had 69 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions, averaged 13.7 yards on kickoff returns and also averaged 40 yards a reception. “When he gets out there, he just makes plays no matter where he’s at,” Chaminade coach Dameon Jones told the Sun Sentinel. “That’s special. He's special.” Patterson also has helped Chaminade-Madonna win back-to-back Class 1M state championships. “He has this knack for making big plays at key times,” Jones said. Patterson played baseball and basketball growing up.
