Missouri head coach Robin Pingeton will step away from the program at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, the program announced. Pingeton has led the Tigers since 2010 and had a 249-216 overall record with the program.

Pingeton took Missouri to four NCAA Tournaments in her time with the program, but hasn’t made an appearance since the 2018-19 season. This year, the Tigers were 13-16 with a 2-12 record in conference play. Last season, Missouri was 11-19 overall and 2-15 in conference play.

Pingeton previously served as the head coach at Illinois State from 2003-10, where she brought the Redbirds back to national prominence, and was an assistant coach at Iowa State for three seasons prior.

Pingeton, an Iowa Native and St. Ambrose alum, was Missouri’s fourth head coach in program history and was at the helm when the Tigers joined the SEC in 2012 after leaving the Big 12 conference. Missouri has made 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, highlighted by a pair of Sweet Sixteens in 1982 and 2001. The last time the Tigers were conference tournament champions was in 1994 and the most recent regular-season championship was the 1990 season.

Missouri will conduct a search for its next head coach.
