2026 Michigan 4-star QB commit Brady Hart throws five TDs in blowout win
Indialantic (Fla.) Cocoa four-star quarterback Brady Hart continues to give Michigan fans plenty of reasons to be excited about his eventual arrival in Ann Arbor.
The junior signal-caller threw for over 3,700 yards and 41 touchdowns as a sophomore. His junior campaign is off to another strong start.
Propelling defending state champs Cocoa to a 2-0 record on Friday night, Hart delivered a five-touchdown performance en route to a 51-0 shutout of Mainland (Fla.). Four of the five TD passes found the hands of senior UCF four-star wide receiver commit Jayvan Boggs.
Across two games, Hart has now thrown for eight touchdowns and zero interceptions.
“We just do what the defense gives us, we had a ton of good matchups on the outside,” Hart told Space Coast Daily’s JD Rodriguez after the win on Friday. “Obviously Jayvan had an unbelievable game with four touchdowns in the first half. We also have some really good receivers and a great offensive line that gave me some time. We diced them up on the outside, for sure.”
Hart committed to Michigan this summer on June 18 and is currently one of two commits in the Wolverines’ 2026 class. Upon making his decision public, he also told On3’s Chad Simmons that he was shutting his recruitment down.

“Michigan is an amazing place,” Hart told On3. “It is a place that will push me and squeeze the excellence out of me. I can go there and win a national championship and prepare for the NFL. The people in Ann Arbor are unbelievable. The visit blew me away and it is the best place for me. I want to be challenged and pushed and I know Michigan will get the best out of me.”
Hart is the No. 97 overall prospect and No. 9 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 17 player in Florida.
Scout’s Take on Brady Hart
Shortly following his commitment in June, Hart dealt the ball brilliantly at an Under Armour Future 50 camp in Florida and earned MVP honors from On3’s Cody Bellaire, who wrote this of the blue-chipper:
“Each of the quarterbacks threw around 50 balls a piece on Saturday morning and the best of the bunch was Brady Hart. He was so strong from start to finish. His consistency in his mechanics is phenomenal. He ties his lower half to his upper body. His footwork is clean and precise. He keeps everything in line and under control even when he is on the move,” Bellaire wrote. “Every ball he throws looks the exact same coming out of his hand. The ball has zip coming out, a consistent tight spiral and consistently on the money from an accuracy standpoint. His ceiling is through the roof and his floor is about as safe as any prospect in the country. My biggest takeaway from this event? Brady Hart is that dude.”
