Week 6 of the Georgia high school football season has arrived, and so has the inclement weather from Hurricane Helene.

A number of programs have had to postpone or outright cancel their games for the weekend, while others are still expected to be in action. Ahead of the biggest games, the On3 Massey Ratings have given their predictions for each of the top-25 contests:

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

#5 Thomas County Central vs. #3 Lee County — Friday, Sept. 27
The game of the season thus far in the Peach State is set for this Friday when 5-0 Thomas County Central heads to Leesburg to take on 5-0 Lee County. The visiting Yellow Jackets enter as the No. 5 team in the state and No. 34 team in the nation. The competition has been measly thus far, but they’ve taken care of business and are outscoring opponents 272-66. The Trojans are the No. 20 team in the nation this week, have faced a more rigorous schedule and already have a pair of wins over top-25 teams in the state. Senior RB Ousmane Kromah has been a force, leading an offense that has scored 45-plus points in all five games so far. Points will be plentiful on Friday night.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Lee County 35, Thomas County Central 34

#15 Camden County vs. #14 Valdosta — Friday, Sept. 27
Another battle of undefeated 5-0 programs will take place in Valdosta as the No. 14 Wildcats host No. 15 Camden County Wildcats on Friday. Camden County has been an absolute wagon on the offensive side of the ball thus far, averaging 54.4 points per game. It is yet to take on a ranked opponent, however and is coming off a bye week. The same can be said for Valdosta, which has played more close contests through its first five games. It is also coming off a bye week that succeeded a successful two-game road swing, which finished with a 13-point road win over South Gwinnett. One group of Wildcats will add a big boost to its résumé this week.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Valdosta 36, Camden County 34

#17 Lowndes vs. #20 Colquitt County — Friday, Sept. 27
Lowndes is another program gearing up for its first real test of the season this week. The 5-0 Vikings are up to No. 17 in the state, with its best win being a 15-point win over Manatee, the No. 23 team in Florida. Colquitt County checks in at 3-2 but is one of the more battle-tested teams in the state. The Packers have lost to No. 3 Lee County and No. 4 North Gwinnett but have shown to be an impressive offensive team thus far, scoring 40-plus points in each of its three wins. Colquitt opened the season as a top-10 program and will look to get back to that level with a major victory on Friday.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Colquitt County 42, Lowndes 27

Savannah Christian vs. Blessed Trinity Catholic — Friday, Sept. 27
Behind DL Elijah Griffin, the No. 6 overall prospect in the senior class, and EDGE LaDamion Guyton, On3’s No. 1 recruit in the sophomore class, Savannah Christian has quietly risen to No. 39 in the state and is now 6-0 following a 55-0 shutout of New Hampstead last week. The Raiders’ defense has allowed more than 7 points in just one game thus far. Blessed Trinity is 4-1 and has hovered around the back end of the state top 25 all season. The Titans rebounded from a close loss to No. 2 Milton last week with a 14-point road win over Hebron Christian.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Blessed Trinity Christian 28, Savannah Christian 16
