NFL'er Drake London buys California high school football team new cleats

During Drake London‘s time as a Musketeer at Moorpark High School, he established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the state of California. Eventually, the high school star went on to play for the USC Trojans before being drafted by the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.
Now, London is giving back to his alma mater in a big way.
According to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Moorpark’s football team handle gave thanks to London for his generous donation to the Musketeers, his alma mater, by buying new cleats for the 2025 season.
‘@DrakeLondon_ showing love to his hometown! Brand-new cleats for our program—blown away by your humility, generosity, and character. Thank you for blessing us! Drake is committed to putting Moorpark on the map.’
In the post by Moorpark, they quoted London in saying ‘Gonna make MP the powerhouse we know it to be.’ A return to their winning ways is what the team has been doing over the course over the last few years.
London graduated after the 2018-2019 season and saved his best for last before heading over to play at USC. The wide receiver hauled in 62 passes for 1,089 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2018. Before starring at USC, London also proved he could play on the hardwood for Moorpark, averaging 29.2 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game his senior year.
