Oklahoma High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - September 9
With another week in the books, the Oklahoma high school football pecking order is beginning to take shape. This past week, there was no shortage of stunning games, and the On3 Massey Ratings adjusted for each outcome.
The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.

Only two schools from Oklahoma made an appearance in the Top 50 of On3’s National High School Football Rankings this week. However, none were rated higher than the No. 1 team in the state, the Owasso Rams.
1. Owasso
Previous Ranking: 1
On Friday, Owasso comfortably defeated Jenks 42-24. In the win, the Rams’ rushing attack was key. Owasso finished the game with 277 rushing yards. Junior running backs Jayson Moll and Chris Zaferes led the charge, notching two touchdowns each.
2. Bixby
Previous Ranking: 2
Bixby bounced back from its season-opening loss against Owasso with a dominant 50-10 win over Charles Page on Friday. Bixby QB Carson Kirby stole the show, exploding for 422 yards and three touchdowns through the air, while recording 50 yards and a score in the ground game, as well.
3. Jenks
Previous Ranking: 4
Despite suffering a 42-24 loss to No. 1 Owasso, Jenks moved up one spot in the state rankings this week. Jenks showed flashes of promise against the Rams, with running back KD Jones tallying two touchdowns in the loss.
4. Union
Previous Ranking: 3
After suffering a 36-35 loss to Stillwater in overtime on Friday, Union fell one spot in the Oklahoma High School Football Rankings. Nonetheless, it was a valiant effort from Union. The Redhawks entered the fourth quarter with a 21-0 deficit and nearly clawed its way to a win.
5. Stillwater
Previous Ranking: 9
Evidently, Stillwater’s narrow win over Union wasn’t enough to bump it past the Redhawks. Nonetheless, the Pioneers certainly gained respect around Oklahoma. In the win, Stillwater running back Shayden Green was electric, amassing 116 rushing yards on 23 carries.

9. Norman
Previous Ranking: 17

10. Mustang
Previous Ranking: 14
Mustang emphatically rolled over Yukon in 52-14 fashion on Friday. Mustang jumped out to an early lead in the win and never looked back. Quarterback Trajon Williamson was fantastic, connecting with multiple receivers for scores in the contest.
