Oliviyah Edwards, No. 1 2026 power forward, throws down monster dunk

Considered one of the nation’s top high school girls basketball prospects, Elite Sports Academy’s Oliviyah Edwards showed why in a thunderous way.
The No. 1 power forward of the Class of 2026 proved any naysayers wrong about her ability to dunk in-game as she threw down a monstrous slam in a AAU matchup. Edwards posted the video of the dunk on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday evening.
They said I couldn’t dunk in a game… so I did. The end of my AAU journey ends this weekend. #3SSB
It wasn’t too long ago that another class of 2026 prospect also dunked in a game as well.
According to a High School On SI report, Park Hill South star Addison Bjorn dunked in a game against Oak Park back in May at the North Kansas City Tournament. The report added that it was a special moment not only because of the dunk itself, but it came a day after Bjorn had met Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark at the WIN for KC Women’s Sports Awards.
Edwards is one of the most heavily sought after high school girls basketball players after solidifying herself through the preps and AAU ranks.

The 6-foot-3 power forward named her top 10 schools last summer in Duke, Florida, Florida State, LSU, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC and Washington.
When it comes down to making a selection, Edwards is in no rush to picking a college just yet.
“I am going to push (the decision) as far back as possible,” Edwards said via a May report. “With coaches (movement) and the transfer portal, I want to wait and see what it looks like. I don’t want to commit too early. So I am probably going to do it next summer.”
