Peyton Manning's son, Marshall, enrolls at Baylor School (Tenn.)

It looks like NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning’s son, Marshall, won’t be playing his high school football in Colorado after all.
According to a report by the Times Free Press Stephen Hargis, the Class of 2030 quarterback prospect will be enrolling as an eighth grader at Baylor School (Tennessee). The Red Raiders are a 2-time state championship program, having won titles in 1973 and 2022.
“I would prefer not to comment on younger players in our program until the appropriate time in their development,” Baylor School head football coach Erik Kimrey via the Times Free Press report.
Marshall had been attending Cherry Creek per his Hudl account and looked to be slated to playing one day for the Bruins out of Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Last year Marshall made viral headlines when he was at the NFL Pro Bowl throwing star wide receivers in Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase and Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson.
The Red Raiders went 12-1 last year in Tennessee’s TSSAA Division II, Class AAA and fell in the state championship game to McCallie School, 27-21.

Baylor School’s head of school Chris Angel via the report did not mention Marshall by name, but did say the Red Raiders were excited about the incoming new students that will be joining this upcoming year.
“We’re excited about the upcoming year for many reasons,” Angel said in the report.
“Baylor is entering our 133rd year with great momentum and a strong sense of purpose. While we do not comment on individual students out of respect for their privacy, I can say that we are welcoming an exceptional group of new students who will be joining a vibrant and dynamic student body. At Baylor, we are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to thrive and make the most of their experience.”
Peyton Manning is considered by many as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL over his span of 18 seasons from 1998-2015. During that span, Manning led two different franchises to Super Bowl victories, with the Indianapolis Colts in 2006 (XLI) and to end his career with the Denver Broncos (50) in 2015.
Over his time in the NFL, Peyton collected five NFL Most Valuable Player awards, named to the Pro Bowl 14 times, threw for 71,940 yards, 539 touchdowns and has been ducted into the NFL’s Pro Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.
