When the St. Thomas More Chancellors take the field this upcoming 2025 season, they’re making sure their football team plays one of the tougher slates of any team in Connecticut.

In fact, the kind of schedule they put together might have them playing one of the best schedules in all of the New England region.

On the 4th of July, St. Thomas More set off its own version of fireworks when they released its official 2025 regular season schedule. Among the couple games that really stand out are contests against nationally-ranked St. Frances Academy (Maryland) and versus The Hun School (New Jersey).

“I think first and foremost we always want to challenge our young men academically and athletically,” St. Thomas More head coach Ernest Anderson said about the team’s 2025 schedule. “Everybody has dreams of playing big time football. It’s our job to help these young men identify their level. Competition matters. We want college coaches to turn on the film and feel confident that our kids are competing against other high level student athletes.”

According to the scheduled by St. Thomas More via X, formerly known as Twitter, the Chancellors will play 11 games this fall.

The Chancellors open up the season at home versus Wyoming before playing a string of road contests, which will end with a Oct. 10 visit to Baltimore to face national powerhouse St. Frances Academy (Maryland).

St. Thomas More’s other matchups include Mt. Zion Prep, St. James Academy and a Nov. 8 road trip down to New Jersey to face prep power Hun School.
