2022 NFL Draft: Mel Kiper releases final draft rankings, top 50 prospects
With the 2022 NFL Draft less than 24 hours away, ESPN analyst Mel Kiper has released his final rankings of players from one to 225. The top 50 will most likely take up a majority of the first and second rounds as they are considered the top players available for selection.
There is no change at his No. 1 overall spot, with Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson taking the top spot. Backed off his season with the Wolverines, Hutchinson found himself in New York City as a Heisman Trophy finalist. Now, he will be hoping to be the first name called in Las Vegas Thursday night.
Offensive tackle is the most frequent position in the rankings, with North Carolina State‘s Ikem Ekwonu the highest at No. 2 overall. Wide receiver is another position that runs deep, giving teams options to help out their franchise quarterbacks.
