4-star ATH Rodrick Pleasant still in the thick of his recruiting process
Gardina (Calif.) four-star athlete Rodrick Pleasant is a standout on the football field, but where he has really made a name for himself is on the track.
Pleasant ran some ridiculous 100 yard dashes this past spring on the California high school circuit, breaking records and winning titles.
But while the four-star prospect is fast on the football field, too, he isn’t rushing his recruitment. He has four official visits left, and while he has a general idea of where he will go, he hasn’t nailed down anything.
“It’s been a really long process, but we’re still in the process of figuring them out,” Pleasant told On3.
The four schools he is likely going to take official visits to are California, Penn State, Oregon and USC.

Pleasant does plan to drop an official schools list soon. One common denominator between the group: Pleasant’s potential to play two sports.
“All the schools that I’ve been talking to they really said that I can I can run track,” Pleasant said.
While that is arguably the biggest factor in his recruitment, Pleasant also said there are other important boxes on his list.
“Some place that’s gonna make me better as a football player and as a man at the end of the day,” Pleasant said. “That’s really what I’m looking for in some place that’s big on life after football.”
