Joshua Lewis has committed to Iowa.

Joshua Lewis, a four-star small forward in the 2026 class, has committed to Iowa, he told On3.

The 6-foot-7 senior out of Blake High School (Tampa, FL) was previously committed to USF where he was their highest-ranked recruit in program history. Lewis also received offers from Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Illinois, and others throughout his high school career.

Lewis is the No. 46 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 12 small forward prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“I feel like I would fit in great with the guys they have and the way they play. I also love the culture they’ve built over there. You can tell it’s really genuine.”

What led to his trust in Fran McCaffery and the coaching staff?

“Coach and the staff have been really consistent with recruiting not just me but my family ever since I opened my recruitment back up.”

“A long athletic guard/wing that can shoot, dribble, pass and defend at a high level.”

“I just want to let the fans know I’m coming to work extremely hard and contribute to winning as much as possible. I put my heart and soul into this game and that’s what they’re going to get from me.”
