4-star SF Tarris Bouie talks recruitment after stock-rising summer

Tarris Bouie is currently the No. 93 overall player in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-5 small forward is a rising junior at Charlotte (NC) Chambers High. He jumped on the national radar as a sophomore averaging 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 stocks per game
“I’m a three-level scorer,” Bouie told On3. “I rebound, I defend, and try to get my teammates open. Really I try to do anything that helps my team win. I’m getting stronger and I can see that I am jumping higher now, playing more athletic. I watch a lot of Kevin Durant with his mid-range game and Paul George with his pace.”
On3 recently caught up with four-star Tarris Bouie to discuss his recruitment.
“I have offers from Wake Forest, Appalachian State, Hampton, Georgetown, Alabama, and some more,” Bouie said. “I’ve been to Wake Forest.”

Bouie talks Wake Forest
WAKE FOREST: “They’re a very smart school, you got to be real smart to go there. They are in the ACC, which is a great conference. My talks with Coach (Steve) Forbes are good. They like my athleticism and think that I fit what they are trying to build.”
In Tarris Bouie’s words
“I want to go to a school that is going to let me play my game,” Bouie said. “I want to see the play style and how I fit in with what they do. My relationship with the coach will be big too. I want to play for someone that I trust has my best interest.”
