Converse (Texas) Judson four-star wide receiver Anthony Evans is down to Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State and Texas A&M, he announced Wednesday on Instagram.
Evans is the No. 338 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.8k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Evans has taken official visits to three of the four schools, including Texas A&M. He had high praise for the in-state Aggies.

““Really, they couldn’t have done better,” he said. “I felt like a priority when I went there. Sitting in that dinner, Jimbo [Fisher] was sitting with me on Saturday and that’s definitely something to take into consideration. He can’t with all the other twelve kids that were there, so I felt like a priority when I went there. Coach Craig made sure of that, and like I said, Jimbo did as well.”
The one school he hasn’t visited is Penn State. The Nittany Lions jumped in the race in May and have made good headway so far.
“It’s been going strong for a couple weeks now,” Evans said, referring to Penn State. “That day they offered (May 19), that’s when I had my first contact with them. They [were] following me on Twitter for a minute and not long after they offered, [Taylor Stubblefield] came down to the school. He was here last week.
