5-star SG Jason Crowe Jr. hearing from several top colleges
Jason Crowe Jr., one of the top shooting guards in the 2026 class, says he is hearing from several college programs (in no particular order): Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan, Miami, USC, UCLA, and Washington.
The five-star prospect out of Inglewood High School (CA) is the No. 8 overall recruit in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 3 shooting guard and the No. 5 player in California.
Crowe Jr. recently exploded for 55 points in a win against fellow top recruit Alijah Arenas and his Chatsworth (CA) squad at The Classic at Damien.
Jason Crowe Jr. is the son of former professional basketball player Jason Crowe, who spent 13 years overseas playing for a variety of clubs. Crowe Sr.’s most successful season came in 2008, where he was crowned NZNBL champion, MVP, Most Outstanding Guard, and assist champion.
Crowe Sr. has a longstanding relationship with Kentucky assistant coach Jason Hart, writes KSR’s Jacob Polacheck.
“Jason Hart is one of my best friends,” Crowe Sr. told Polacheck.

Jason Crowe, a class of 2026 guard playing up in the 17u division, has such great feel for the game. The lefty has a smooth handle and his foot work gets him clean looks in the half court. He has a clear understanding of pace with the ball which allows him to play left-hand dominant and get to his spots. With the game on the line, and a team filled with four and five star players, the ball was in his hands to make something happen. He finished with a game-high 20 points.
Crowe’s On3 NIL Valuation worth over $500,000
Jason Crowe Jr. currently holds a $561,000 million On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks 33rd in high school basketball.
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.
About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value
While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
The On3 NIL Valuation accounts for an athlete’s roster value and brand value. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. Brand value factors in an athlete’s personal brand and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.
