It was a highly entertaining affair on Wednesday evening in Capital One’s “The Match” VI between Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady vs. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. It came down to yet another clutch putt by Aaron Rodgers to win it for his team on Wednesday night.

Check to watch him drain the winning putt.

The sports world has gotten a taste of Rodgers’ clutch putting on the golf course over the years. Last year, in the fourth version of The Match in Montana, he showed off his excellent putting skills. This was the first time that “The Match” did not feature any professional golfers, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t any less entertaining. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite.

There were a number of really good shots hit by Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady throughout the 12-hole event, which also raised an extensive amount of money for charity.

Although it was fun to watch them spray shots all over the course just like your average golfer watching at home, it was impressive to see the number of really good shots they hit. The course–the Wynn at Las Vegas–is one of the most immaculate courses in the U.S. It was beautifully manicured and there was simply not a blade of grass out of place on the course.

Brady and Rodgers were 2 up after 2 holes, but Allen and Mahomes battled back. They made it interesting down the stretch. The young pair of quarterbacks even grabbed the lead and were 1 up with just a few holes remaining.

On the final hole, Brady gave Rodgers an excellent read of his 12-foot birdie putt to bring home the victory. His teammate was not surprised when the Green Bay Packers signal-caller stepped up and drilled it.

“We’ve played together maybe three times competitively,” said Brady of Rodgers, “And every time, he’s made a 15-foot putt to win. That was amazing, and it didn’t surprise me when it went in.”

There were all kinds of jokes and trash talk on Wednesday night. It was a refreshing perspective to see all of the different stars in different lights and what a wonderful showcase it was for The Wynn at Las Vegas–one of the most beautiful courses in the United States.
