Aaron Rodgers is showcasing his pinpoint accuracy and having some fun as he returns to the Green Bay Packers.

From 50 yards out, Rodgers serves it up on a platter. An unreal example of why he’s been called the most talented quarterback of all time.

Players and media alike were in awe of the Green Bay Packers quarterback’s insane throw. Former Indianapolis Colts punter turned media mogul Pat McAfee quote-tweeted the video, saying “I mean … ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?”

Rodgers may have been out to top Tom Brady’s viral video from last month, one where he was playing catch with a JUGS machine. Alas, Brady’s video turned out to be edited, but that didn’t make it any less awesome.

Brady may have won the battle in the NFC Championship Game, but Rodgers seems to be ahead in the matchup of viral videos. At least Rodgers’ video is authentic.

Aaron Rodgers addresses relationship with Brian Gutekunst

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, the dominating story of the NFL off-season was Rodgers’ relationship with the Green Bay Packers. Specifically, the well-documented riff between the quarterback and general manager Brian Gutekunst.

Earlier this week, Rodgers spoke on his relationship with the general manager.

“I think it’s a work in progress,” Rodgers says, per Around the NFL writer Nick Shook. “I think relationships aren’t formed in the matter of a couple days. There’s time where the respect grows and the communication follows. I think the greatest relationships that you have with your friends and loved ones involve conversations and flow. You can not talk to a close friend for a few months and pick up right where you left off.”

While their relationship may be frayed, Gutekust recognized how vital Rodgers is to his team’s success. After agreeing to a reworked contract and stipulations to bring the quarterback back to Green Bay, he also traded for wide receiver Randall Cobb, a move spearheaded by Rodgers.

When asked about the trade, Gutekust credited Rodgers going to bat for Cobb as the main reason why it was made.

“I think that was a big part of it,” Gutekunst said last week. “Without Aaron, I don’t know if we would be pursuing that. He’s still a really good player.”

Aaron Rodgers & Jordan Love

The train began to derail once Gutekunst decided to draft quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Afterwards, Rodgers recognized the clock was ticking on his time in Green Bay.

Still, Rodgers is adamant that he harbors no ill-will towards Love. Earlier this week, Rodgers revealed details about how he’s maintained a good relationship with his eventual successor.

“And then I just reached out; I reached out a number of times [to] check on him [and] see how he’s doing,” Rodgers said, per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. “I didn’t hold things from him, I let him know where I was at mentally and what I was thinking about. And hopefully he appreciated that.”

In the long run, a solid relationship will benefit both Rodgers and Love. As for Rodgers and Gutenkust, it may take some more time to mend fences.

However, with all the drama surrounding Rodgers, he just continues to show off his ridiculous ability.
