Aaron Rodgers suffered knee injury in Packers win over Dolphins, out of practice, report says
Aaron Rodgers reportedly suffered a knee injury Sunday in the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Miami Dolphins, according to Matt Scheidman. According to the report, Rodgers’ injury is not concerning to the team.
“Aaron Rodgers picked up a knee injury Sunday in Miami and isn’t practicing,” Scheidman wrote on Twitter. “Doesn’t seem as if the Packers are overly concerned about Rodgers’ knee. He’ll talk to reporters at his locker later today.”
The Packers are currently fighting for an NFC Wild Card berth sitting at 7-8 on the season. With two more wins and some help from either the Washington Commanders or New York Giants, the future Hall of Fame quarterback could be back in the postseason.
“A lot has happened in our favor,” Rodgers said after the win over Miami. “All the games that needed to go a certain way went a certain way.”
In the win, Rodgers went just 24-of-28 for 238 yards, one touchdown and one interception, but it was enough to help the Packers escape South Florida with a victory.
“I don’t think we’ve struggled with confidence, but we definitely haven’t had a lot of belief outside the locker room I don’t think,” Rodgers said. “We’ve been playing a little bit better complementary football. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s a good football team and they had a lot to play for, so that’s a good win for us.”

This season, Rodgers has 3,331 yards, 24 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 64.8% completion percentage.
“I’d like to be … what are we, 7-8? I’d like to be 10-5, 11-4,” Rodgers said. “But considering where we were a few weeks ago … Now, there’s obviously much left, but we’ve played meaningful games in December and we won all three of those. Now we’re playing meaningful games in January, and we’ve got to win those.”
Based on the current scenario, the Packers must win their final two games coupled with Washington losing one of its last two or the Giants losing out.
The Commanders end their season with the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys while the Giants have the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles left on the schedule.
