WATCH: AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts react to Eagles-Titans trade with FaceTime call

Saying Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown are fired up to be teammates is underselling it. After a draft day trade brought the former Ole Miss star wide receiver from the Tennessee Titans to the Eagles, the duo is ready to prove it truly is always sunny in Philadelphia.
Following the trade and subsequent extension being finalized for Brown with the Eagles, Hurts gave his sure-handed receiver a FaceTime call. Check out the good vibes the duo is already sharing with the NFL world.
Gigantic smiles, laughter and supreme confidence evident in two highly-motivated individuals. The Eagles haven’t had much luck drafting wide receivers in the past, but trading for Brown looks like a fantastic move off the bat.
Moreover, the Titans traded Brown to Philadelphia in exchange for the No. 18 overall pick in Thursday’s first round, and another third-round pick. The No. 18 overall selection became Brown’s de-facto replacement in Tennessee, former Arkansas star pass catcher Treylon Burks.

Immediately, Brown got paid by the birds. The newest member of the Eagles received a four-year, $100 million deal with the franchise, including $57 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
In three years with the Titans, Brown played in 43 games and started 36. He totaled 2,995 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns during that time after Tennessee drafted him out of Ole Miss as the No. 51 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. His best year came in 2020 when he hauled in 70 receptions for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns to earn his first Pro Bowl appearance.
Last year in 13 appearances, A.J. Brown had 63 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns for Tennessee. Now, he’s going to look to shine with Philadelphia, where he’ll pair with former Alabama star wide receiver Devonta Smith in catching passes from Jalen Hurts.
