4-star SF Amari Allen commits to Alabama
Amari Allen, a four-star small forward in the 2025 class, has committed to Alabama and head coach Nate Oats, he told On3.
The 6-foot-7 small forward out of Ashwaubenon High (WI) chose the Crimson Tide over offers from Wisconsin, UCF, Mississippi State, Nevada, and Minnesota. He becomes Alabama’s first addition in the 2025 cycle.
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Allen is the No. 78 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle. He’s also the No. 17 small forward prospect and the No. 1 player in Wisconsin. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

What led to his trust with the Alabama coaching staff?
“The consistency and relationship I have built with them. Also being able to see them send multiple guys to the league that are like me shows that their formula works and I can trust them. They also came up to Green Bay the first day of in-house visits to visit me and my family. That meant a lot just showing me I was a priority.”
In his own words, what type of player is Alabama getting in Amari Allen?
“I would say I’m like a Swiss Army knife. I can do all. I can score, guard 1-4, pass, and get everyone involved. I’m a great teammate and love to see my guys win. I have a good IQ and am able to make reads out of the ball screen.”
He has a message for the fans.
“Alabama is going continue to be a top team in the country and I can’t wait to contribute.”
