Alabama QB commit Dylan Lonergan has strong pitch for Cormani McClain
Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood four-star quarterback Dylan Lonergan has a message for Lakeland (Fla.) Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Cormani McClain.
“You’re not going to win any rings over there, so come over here,” Lonergan said to BamaInsider during the Under Armour All-America practice Saturday.
McClain is the No. 3 overall prospect and No. 1 cornerback in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is the top player to not sign during the Early Signing Period, deciding to hold off on his Miami commitment. It later came out that Deion Sanders and Colorado had reached out and made contact with McClain.
The Crimson Tide were a finalist for McClain along with Florida.
