Carolina Panthers announce multiple front office changes

Tepper Sports and Entertainment has made multiple leadership changes, leading to some movement within the Carolina Panthers front office. The Panthers revealed those changes in an announcement on Tuesday morning.

As part of the movement in the front office, former Panthers president of business operations Tom Glick is leaving the organization. Nick Kelly is the new chief executive officer of Tepper Sports and Entertainment. Additionally, Kristi Coleman will become the new president of the Panthers.

In related news, Nicole Tepper is the new chief administrative officer of Tepper Sports and Entertainment.

Panthers owner David Tepper commented on the changes to Tepper Sports and Entertainment leadership, as well as the changes within Carolina’s front office. Joe LaBue is the new president of Charlotte FC.

“Nick, Kristi, Joe, and Nicole are talented, passionate executives, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with them as we strengthen our organization and build winning teams for our fans,” David Tepper said. “We thank Tom for his many contributions to the organization and wish him and his family the best.”

The Panthers recently added to the front office, coaching staff

Last week, the Panthers made an announcement, where they revealed a major promotion within the front office. Samir Suleiman, previously the team’s director of player negotiations and salary cap manager, is the Panthers new vice president of football administration.

“Samir’s been instrumental for us over the past year,” Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer said. “From signing Haason Reddick and other free agents last offseason, he has done a great job for us. We rely on him and his ability to manage the salary cap every day. He’s a big part of what we do here.”

The front office wasn’t the only area that the Panthers have added to in recent weeks. Also last week, Carolina added Chris Tabor to the coaching staff as the Panthers new special teams coordinator. Tabor has worked in the NFL for 14 years, most recently with the Chicago Bears.

Additionally, the Panthers hired former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo as the team’s new offensive coordinator. McAdoo takes over for former offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who was fired in December.
