Chase Claypool took to Twitter following the Pittsburgh Steelers victory last night, where he took a hilarious victory lap.

“Official T.J. Watt fan page,” tweeted Claypool following the win.

Claypool spoke for everyone in Pittsburgh with his tweet, as the aforementioned Watt propelled the Steelers to victory. The Seattle Seahawks had the ball and only needed a field goal for victory, and Watt stole it right out of their hands.

The newly-minted highest-paid defensive player in the league, Watt showed he was worth every penny. As Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith attempted to run for the first down, Watt forced a fumble that the Steelers recovered.

Claypool and the offense took the field, but there wasn’t much to do. Shortly after, kicker Chris Boswell propelled the Steelers to a 23-20 win. It was a game both teams needed, but the Steelers were able to pull off.

While Claypool didn’t have the most productive game, he’s simply happy the Steelers were able to get the win. In the game, the former Notre Dame wide receiver had two catches for 16 yards.

If it wasn’t for Watt, the play of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may be the topic of the day. Roethlisberger threw for 229 yards and a touchdown, but he also had an ugly fumble during the game. At times, his ineffective play held the Steelers offense back once again.

Luckily, Claypool and the Steelers have a much needed bye week coming next weekend. Afterwards, a huge divisional matchup takes place on Halloween — a showdown in Cleveland with the Browns.

If the Steelers can get a victory in that game, their schedule begins to lighten up. Afterwards, they have games with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions on the docket.

If Chase Claypool and the Steelers offense can catch up with their defense, good times could be ahead for Pittsburgh.
